 Fuel Surcharges
Due to continuing rises in the price of diesel
fuel, Tantara has found it necessary to implement a sliding fuel
surcharge matrix.
The weekly price issued each Monday by the Department
of Energy's shall be used to determine the fuel surcharge
applicable for the next seven (7) days. Any adjustments to the
surcharge will become effective at 12:01am Tuesday and be in effect
until 11:59pm the following Monday. The scale for calculation is shown
below. The fuel surcharge will be shown as a separate entry on
your freight invoice, and will only be applicable to line-haul
charges, after any discounts. The fuel surcharge percentage is
determined by the date of your pickup.
